The Electrification of Human Corpses

ure

While searching the web trying to answer my question of how electrical experiments on animals lead to human electrification, I came across this page. (See the link below) There are some interesting accounts of experiments listed on this page, however I would pay particular attention to number fifteen as it relates to our recent reading. It briefly mentions Galvani’s experiments on frogs and other animals. Then it introduces how their curiosity led them to try similar experiments on humans of deceased nature.  They became further intrigued after the results of testing performed on a previously executed murderer. Further experimentation was also performed in the hope of being able to revive a dead body, which  proved to be unsuccessful.
